Q: What’s your name?
A: Marc Buck

Q: And what is your official title at Western Pest Services?
A: Branch Manager

Q: What are your responsibilities?
A: I am responsible for all operations and sales at the Randolph, NJ, Office. We service all of Morris, Warren, and Sussex Counties in New Jersey.

Q: What year did you start working at Western?
A: 1985

Q: How many years have you been working in this industry?
A: 35 years – all at Western.

Q: What is your education background?
A: I attended Morris County School of Technology for Advanced Construction Trades. The skills I learned transitioned directly into the pest control industry. Everything we deal with has to do with some type of structural issue.

Q: Do you have any relevant certifications or specialties?
A: Pest exclusion is an area I have many years of experience. I also assist our customers with fly issues. They can be very difficult to diagnose.

Q: Are there any interesting projects you’ve worked on that you’d like to include?
A: One recent project is a large sanitizing and disinfection service for a county park system. We were glad we could help provide this important service for both the park employees and guests that visit them.

Q: Is there anything else you would like to include?
A: My team. I could not be prouder of the great people I work with every day. Their commitment especially during this time to both our customers and Western has been incredible. Our average tenure is over 19 years. I have all the confidence that our sales and operations folks are second to none.
