There’s just something about a child waking up on Christmas morning with nothing to open that really lights a fire under the Western team. Most of us are (hopefully) lucky enough never to have known how that feels. The impact that it can make on a child is just too much to bear. So, the Western team decided to turn it around and make a positive impact instead!

For five years in a row, the team at Western Pest Services has come together and collected toys for the kids of Wilmington, Delaware, and the surrounding areas. And for five years in a row, they have donated those toys to Sunday Breakfast Mission. This incredible organization provides care and support to homeless, hurting, and hungry individuals and families in the Wilmington area. Their services include emergency shelter, long-term rehabilitation programs, community outreach, and much more to uplift those in need. They also do this large toy drive every year. And Western has been happy to help – five years running.
The team pulled out all the stops, collecting toys and gifts for kids from 1-18 years old. From Hot Wheels to hungry hippos, they filled four carts to the brim with holiday happiness. They dropped all the toys off with a smile and the hope of bringing some holiday joy to their community. While the team at Western makes sure to be as remarkable as possible while making an impact on the people and places in their area all year long, helping during the holidays just seem to mean so much more. But it’s also a way of life for the team at Western. Giving back, helping, making a positive impact – it’s the Western way.
