Pest Control in Plymouth Meeting, PA

Founded in 1686, Plymouth Meeting is a census-designated place (CDP) that straddles Plymouth and Whitemarsh Townships in Montgomery County. The area was originally settled by members of the Religious Society of Friends, or Quakers, who built the Plymouth Friends Meetinghouse in 1708. They sailed from Devonshire, England, on the ship Desire, arriving in Philadelphia on June 23, 1686. The settlement takes its name from the founders’ hometown of Plymouth in Devon. During the Revolutionary War, in May 1778, the Plymouth Friends Meetinghouse served as a temporary military hospital. General George Washington, then at Valley Forge, learned that a British force intended to seize the area and cut off movement of the Continental Army. He sent Marquis de Lafayette and 2,100 troops to counter. They camped around the meetinghouse on the night before the May 19 Battle of Barren Hill. The next morning the British arrived with a massive force of 16,000 and tried to cut off any escape route. Lafayette instead took advantage of the Americans’ knowledge of local roads and escaped with minimal casualties.

Plymouth Meeting is home to a host of natural and rural attractions. Sip on award-winning wine and enjoy the beautiful views at Karamoor Estate Wines. Try out ziplining at Treetop Adventures. It features over 50 challenge games and zip lining that spans up to 50 feet above the ground in the trees above Elmwood Park Zoo. Once your feet are on the ground again, enjoy the zoo itself! After all that fun, have a nice, peaceful meal at Redstone American Grill. Start with a classic fondue and then dive into a slab of prime rib that will make your stomach very, very happy. Every year, people flock to Plymouth Meeting to enjoy everything it has to offer, but unfortunately, so do pests. While these bugs and rodents provide benefits to the eco-system in Plymouth Meeting, they can also be a serious problem at homes and businesses. That’s when a professional pest control expert should be called in.

Pest Control Services Near You

Properly controlling pests in Plymouth Meeting, PA should be done on a local level. Plymouth Meeting’s pest issues are different than New Jersey’s and way different than New York City’s. The pest control company you choose should have knowledge and expertise in your town. That’s Western Pest Services. As the Keystone State, Pennsylvania is known for its forests, farms, trails, and abundance of greenery and lush vegetation. Plymouth Meeting is no exception. Warm, moist summers give way to cold winters, which means over-wintering insects, rodents, and other small wildlife need to find warm places to wait out the cold. The local extermination experts at our Spring House, PA branch are used to dealing with mice, carpenter ants, bed bugs, termites, mosquitoes, ticks – and even the occasional cheeky raccoon or hiding bat. No matter the season, your pest control service needs will be taken care of by a local exterminator that knows the area and the pests that are common to it. In the summer, they know what that the ponds and birdbaths many people have around their homes can be exactly where mosquitoes like to breed. They know that the ticks that come out during the summer months can transmit Lyme disease so while nobody can help the wooded areas around Willow Grove Park, they can help your backyard stay free from them. In the cooler months, they know mice can try to make their way into your garage – especially if that’s where you keep the 20 lb. dog food bag! No matter what pest, any time of the year, our pest control treatments in Plymouth Meeting can help, including:

  • Bats
  • Bed bugs
  • Pest birds
  • Spotted lanternflies
